We have a 9.4 Tesla, wide bore (8.9 cm) vertical Oxford Instruments magnet with Bruker AMX400 NMR spectrometer and 25 mm, 10 mm and 5 mm probes for perfused hearts, tissue extracts and chemical analysis. We are interested in development of collaboration and custom analysis using this instrument. In particular, we can provide on-site research training of PhD students combined with analysis of samples and experiments that will constitute part of their thesis. Our experience is predominantly in the 31P analysis of perfused hearts and tissue extracts. However, facilities to perform 1H and 13C experiments are also available. Please contact Dr RT Smolenski for further information.
